A higher level of thought.
We invest, generally, in private companies with acquisition
values ranging between $5 and $50 million, with $2 to $12 million of equity
in each portfolio company.
Managers are welcome to co-invest. We construct equity plans for key decision
makers to be vested on both time and performance achievements. Compensation
and bonus plans are competitive; however, our bias is toward equity-driven
rewards. |

While we invest broadly, we do have knowledge
in information technology, distribution, business services, oilfield services, commercial printing, energy and manufacturing.
Our Philosophy

capitalize companies to enable them to build competitive advantage
and to leverage returns. We support talented management teams in
the development and achievement of business goals, including encouragement
of strategic acquisitions. We create liquidity through well-timed transactions,
and we provide performance-based incentives for management.
Portfolio Interaction
In an effort to fully understand our portfolio companies, we receive monthly
financial and operating updates. We nominate outside directors when
we believe they can add value, and we provide opportunities for sharing experiences
across our portfolio of companies. |
